HOW DOES THIS WORK?
1) You pay for service rendered at time of service
2) We provide you with a superbill
3) You send the superbill to your insurance company along with the insurance form
4) They reimbursement you after your deductible, according to your policy.
INSURANCE REIMBURSEMENT The Affordable Care Act requires qualified health plans to cover all licensed practitioners without discriminating. In the state of Arizona, Naturopathic Physicians are licensed to practice medicine; therefore, unless your insurance policy specifically excludes naturopaths, by law they must cover the services. Naturopathic physicians are usually considered “out of network” because they are not normally listed as covered providers; therefore, you will receive an “out of network” reimbursement. Most patients are reimbursed up to 80% after meeting their deductible according to their policy.
ASK YOUR INSURANCE COMPANY •Does my policy specifically exclude Naturopaths •Please add my Naturopathic Physician to your provider list; if not, my Naturopath is considered an out-of network provider correct? •Can you write into my plan to cover naturopathic medicine? Most insurance companies will write a plan to cover naturopathic medicine, but you must request the coverage.
